Your health and safety are of paramount importance to us at Tureberg Tandvård & Medicine Center. We continuously review and update our practices to ensure compliance with current regulations and best practices.

Patient Safety Charter

At Tureberg Tandvård & Medicine Center, we maintain a strong safety culture where patient safety is the top priority in everything we do. This commitment extends not only to the delivery of healthcare but also to setting objectives, developing procedures, purchasing new products and equipment, and fostering an open and fair environment where our team can address challenges in the best interests of our patients.

To ensure your safety, we:

1. Follow the latest infection prevention guidelines as outlined by Swedish health authorities and international best practices.
2. Use dental instruments that are either single-use or thoroughly sterilized after each use.
3. Decontaminate all work areas, including the dental chair, handheld equipment, and frequently touched surfaces (e.g., cupboard handles), between patients.
4. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, including the use of clinical clothing and restrictions on wearing jewelry.
5. Monitor water quality in our practice. Dental unit waterlines are regularly disinfected and maintained to ensure cleanliness.
6. Handle and dispose of waste in accordance with current Swedish regulations, using approved waste carriers.
7. Take expert advice if a team member may have a blood-borne infection. The team member will undergo an occupational health examination and follow professional guidance regarding their role in patient care.
8. Train all team members in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. We follow strict safeguarding procedures, which are regularly monitored and reviewed.

Clinical Governance and Risk Management

We operate a robust clinical governance system that uses integrated risk management to identify, assess, analyze, and manage all risks and incidents. Our goal is to achieve continuous improvement in the care and services we provide to you.
