initial consultation, we will build a customised treatment plan specific to you.

What to expect during the treatment:

Receiving dental implants usually takes place over several months.
After an initial consultation, you’ll come in for your first appointment, during which we’ll apply the titanium implants into the jaw if the bone level and quality are sufficient – this will take place under anaesthetic, so you don’t feel any pain or discomfort.
There will be a wait of at least 3 months while the titanium implants and jawbone safely fuse together – we’ll provide you with a temporary tooth to fill the gap if necessary.
Once the implants and bone have successfully fused, we’ll be able to place your personal crown, dentures, or bridge.

What exactly is a dental implant?

Dental implants are designed to replace and replicate a natural tooth or teeth as closely as possible. They use a screw/peg made of titanium – a safe biocompatible material – to take the place of the root, with a crown, denture, or bridge on top to replace the tooth. When looked after carefully, with proper at-home daily oral care routines, regular dental examinations, and hygiene appointments, dental implants can last a lifetime.
